Weight Loss

Are you tired of hearing the advice to “eat less” and “exercise more?” Well, we certainly are!

It is amazing that in the 21st century we are still treating weight gain as if it is a character flaw. The truth is that the scientific community is discovering new insights almost daily about why it is so difficult to lose weight. Yet, most health care practitioners don’t take the time to stay current on this research. Certainly diet and exercise are a component, but so are genetics, environmental toxins, sleep, stress, and hormones just to name a few. At Acupuncture Buffalo, we employ a holistic approach that considers you as an individual. We use Acupuncture, Nutrition and Chinese medicine to balance hormones, detoxify, reduce stress and help you to feel more energized. Once you are starting to feel like yourself again, we will help you to discover a lifestyle that you will love and that will support your body’s unique needs. Of course we focus on movement and healthy (not to mention, delicious!) eating, but we do it in a supportive, non-judging and non-dogmatic way. It’s only part of the total picture. You can get a peek at how we work by checking out the resources under How it Works.
